Felicia R. Glidden is an American-born visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, painting, video, and installation. Working with recycled and found materials—such as plastic, paper, and photographic archives—she creates richly layered works that explore memory, materiality, and the shifting relationship between analog and digital image cultures. Her process often involves sewing, imprinting, and reconfiguring discarded media into new visual forms, drawing inspiration from dreams, personal archives, and contemporary events.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Glidden holds an MFA from the University of Maryland and a BFA from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She has exhibited internationally across the United States and Europe, and her work has been included in collaborative and institutional contexts such as the Whitney Biennial’s Occupy Museums “Debtfair” project.
From 2015 to 2025, she co-founded and ran ProjekTraum FN in Friedrichshafen, Germany, a studio and exhibition space that hosted artists and fostered interdisciplinary exchange. Building on this experience, she is now developing a new artist residency in France, continuing her commitment to creating platforms for artistic experimentation, collaboration, and community.
